Time to Cruise

Tomorrow, we fly to Miami to head out on a seven night Caribbean cruise on the beautiful Celebrity Reflection. After a mixed experience last August on the Celebrity Summit, we’re really hoping that this cruise knocks our socks off. It should: the ship is the newest in Celebrity’s fleet, it has all the bells & whistles that we love (including the fabulous martini bar & lawn) & we’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about the crew.

We’ll be stopping in three ports: San Juan, Puerto Rico (we’re excited – our first time in PR!); St. Thomas (where we’ll be headed to St. John for a day of snorkeling); & St. Martin (where we are going on an all day speed boat/snorkeling/beach/Maho planes/awesomeness tour).

While I’m gone, you’ll hear from other travelers about their favorite cruise & I’ll be writing about some myth vs fact on modern day cruising.

I really try to unplug while I’m cruising, but might pop onto wifi while I’m in port once or twice, so keep an eye to my Instagram & Twitter.

See you in a week!

  1. I enjoy reading about cruise experience from those without kids and not retired yet – I personally haven’t’ done a cruise and wonder if it’s a viable (and fun?) option! Look forward to hearing about it.

  2. Ah, this sounds incredible! Can’t wait to read all about it :)
