It’s that time of year again! Time for my annual summer giveaway. Since this blog – at its heart – is a travel photography blog, this year’s giveaway is full of colorful photos, perfect for wanderlusting.
This year’s giveaway prize pack includes:
- a pack of DK Eyewitness Travel Guides for some of my favorite places in the world: Italy, London, New York City & Paris.
Even in the crazy, technology 24/7 world we live in now, I still love a good paper guidebook. If I’m visiting somewhere new, my first stop after booking flights is the bookstore to pick up a guidebook. I love DK Eyewitness books because they have great maps & illustrations. After flipping through their new 2014 New York City book, I was impressed that many of my favorite Manhattan spots (like the Union Square Farmers Market & Cushman Row) were both mentioned. A guidebook with insider tips? & maps of the inside of museums? Sounds good to me!
- a photography fun pack from National Geographic, including a great DVD: the Art of Travel Photography.
I love National Geographic – they’re really the original travel magazine, don’t you think? If you’re as inspired by National Geographic’s amazing photography as I am, it’s not too late to enter their annual travel photography contest. Even if you don’t enter, be sure & check out many of the gallery of amazing entries – this is definitely travel photography at its finest!
- I love street art, so when I learned of Stephen Powers’ book (& super cute matching note cards) A Love Letter to the City, I knew I had to include it! Why go to a museum when you can just walk down the street in NYC?
- Lastly, because life can’t be all reading & no play, I’m throwing in an awesome wine bottle serving tray & tickets to the Corning Museum of Glass from my friends up in Corning & the Southern Finger Lakes. You’ll be learning more about the Finger Lakes in the next few weeks because I’m headed there next weekend!
So how do you enter to win these fabulous prizes? Just enter below! For an extra entry, leave a comment on this post & let me know what you’d like to see more of on this blog. More photos? More itineraries? More stories? More how-to? Something else completely? This is your chance to let me know!
