Thank You, Veterans

The world calls it Armistice Day, but here in America we call it Veterans Day. November 11 is a day we set aside to thank our nation’s military veterans who have served so bravely. My own brother served in the U.S. Air Force for six years right out of high school & I’m forever thankful to him for his service. We are the land of the free, because of the brave. Thank you to all the men & women who have served!

  1. Really enjoy your posts, Christina. But your caption on the WWII memorial is a bit off. Each of the gold stars represent 100 dead or missing, not 100,000..

    1. Ahh – thanks, Steve! Post has been edited.
