Plane Spotting in St. Maarten

I had one request for my 35th birthday: head to St. Maarten for a long weekend of plane spotting. If you love planes (& tropical locations), this is a bucket list trip! Here are some of my favorite shots from the long weekend.

  2. No ways!!! These photos are just unreal.
    I am not sure I could be at easy on that beach with all those planes flying so low right above me :)

    1. It’s definitely not a sun bathing beach – the water has a steep drop off & there are too many crazy people like me running around looking at the planes :)

  3. We hung out at maho beach and watched the planes fly in and out and what a crazy experience! I swear we were so close to some of those planes! Great place to watch but gets busy!

    1. It definitely gets busy! We visited on a day when there weren’t any cruise ships in port, which was definitely key to the beach not being packed.

  4. Those photos are both beautiful and hilarious — and kind of terrifying. But you look happy!

    1. I was SO blissfully happy! It was an adrenaline filled experience, that’s for sure!
