New York City is full of Christmas trees. Every corner, every park is full of these spirited wintery evergreens. Here is a handful of the many trees we saw during our visit to Manhattan the weekend before Christmas:

We missed celebrating Christmas last year since we started our full-time travelling this year. ACkk.. This is just amazing! And a bit jealous with the pictures.

Great theme. I have always wanted to go to NY during Christmas but never made it. Have been several times but always during the summer. I feel like I’m missing out.

I love the pictures, I’ve been in NY once during Christmas and it’s probably the best time of year to be there. Thanks…

After visiting New York City during Christmas time, I was excited to see what kinds of pictures you chose to depict the holiday season. I loved the variety of trees that you chose and the different angles in which the trees were captured. However, I also feel that one of the main parts of Christmas in New York City are the massive crowds of people there. It would have been nice to see at least one picture that showed this side of the Christmas.

You’re right Anna – it’s very crowded in Midtown during the holidays! That’s why I love to go see the decorations first thing in the morning when there’s no one around & generally avoid Midtown during the day.
Here’s one of my favorite shots of the crowd, taken a few years ago:

Nice post. I was in New York last Christmas for the first time, had a pretty fun time. I couldn’t believe the crowds down around 5th Ave in the lead up to the 25th, was insane!
