It’s no secret that the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland is awesome. Every year, thousands of visitors drive along the rugged Atlantic coastline (which reminded me a lot of coastal Maine). We spent one afternoon driving along a small portion of it located in County Clare. The ocean scenery was absolutely stunning!
We loved driving along, the Atlantic Ocean on one side & the crazy hills of the Burren on the other. There are a number of places to pull over along the way – we were especially fond of the one by the sign for Crimlin. Don’t be afraid to venture out on the rocks, but remember to leave this wonderful area as your found it (no stealing rocks or leaving trash!)
