Tomorrow is America’s 239th birthday (but she doesn’t look a day over 25!) so it’s fitting that today’s #FriFotos theme is America. Over my three decades of living here, I’ve loved being an American, hated being an American, been embarrassed to be an American, & felt overwhelming pride being an American. I’ve practically burst with patriotism when we do something well (usually sports related, sometimes not) & I’ve felt the lowest of lows on our darkest of days. I’ve worn red, white & blue with pride & once lied & said I was Canadian while traveling. Lets take a look at this gosh darn beautiful country of mine. (Shout out to Irving Berlin for writing what should be our national anthem)
