On Sunday, we’re getting on a boat. More than a boat, it’s actually ship. A cruise ship to be exact.
We’ll be sailing on the Celebrity Summit to Bermuda. It’s the ideal cruise vacation: three & a half sea days, three consecutive days in port.
After sailing the Celebrity Equinox around the Caribbean last year, I’m excited to try the higher end line again, this time on a smaller ship. We’ve sailed small ships before (the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas & the Carnival Pride), & like their intimate size. The Summit was recently “Solsticized,” which means she has all the fancy bells & whistles that their larger, newer ships have.
We’re sailing Aqua Class for the first time, which has me positively giddy. I can’t wait to try out Blu for the first time – seems pretty close to what we eat at home (clean eating, organic, simply prepared food), which is a nice luxury to have on vacation!
While in Bermuda, I’m looking forward to exploring the island’s famous pink sand beaches, doing a little kayaking & generally strolling & relaxing & Dark n’ Stormy drinking.
Have you been to Bermuda before? What must we do? What shouldn’t we waste our time on?
(Full disclosure: I had no idea what “I’m on a Boat” meant in pop culture. Yes, I’m that much of a nerd. I had to Google it.)

Bermuda is ohh so nice! Would really love to visit but not on a boat lol… but it’ll for sure be quite the adventure being on one… and of course, being on the pink sand! awesome post! Thanks!
