It took six visits, but I think I finally found the most perfect, romantic, outdoor dining experience in Barbados.
Cafe Luna is located in Christ Church, along Enterprise Beach, in the lovely Little Arches Hotel. (which would be a stunning place for a wedding). Their seating is almost entirely outdoors on a balcony open to the skies. The atmosphere is divine: tables lit by lanterns, geometric star shaped lights hanging overhead every few feet, attentive service, & (lucky for us) the night we were there, the Supermoon shining brightly overhead.
The food was excellent. Cool, smooth red wine, followed up with courses of leafy greens, succulent mussels & some of the best desserts I’ve had on the island. An added bonus? A cup of regular old drip coffee was a bargain at under $5 a cup.
We ate at Cafe Luna on our last night on the island & it reminded me of all the things that I love about Barbados. As usual, I can’t wait for our next trip back; Cafe Luna will definitely be on our dining list.
