Wordless Wednesday: Washington Square Park, NYC

It’s one of my favorite movie scenes: Billy Crystal is out walking on New Years Eve, thinking about his years of friendship with Meg Ryan. He pauses to look up at the Washington Square Arch, remembering when he & Meg (we’re on a first name basis) said good-bye after the drove to New York from Chicago together after college. She says in a voice over “It’s too bad we can’t be friends, because you were the only one I knew in New York.” He starts to jog up the street, realizing that she’s the one he’s madly in love with. If not for that corny scene from “When Harry Met Sally,” Washington Square Park would just be a quiet little gathering spot for NYU students…
