Foto Friday: Mercat de La Boqueria de Barcelona

One of my favorite places in the entire world is La Boqueria, the huge public market in Barcelona, Spain. The colorful produce, spices & candy is unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere in the U.S. Pull up a stool to one of the many tapas bars in the market, & enjoy a light lunch!

I know… they’re sheep’s heads. Very popular, apparently!

  1. I took photos of the dried fruit and nuts stand, too! Such great colors and textures. And ugh, I remember the animals looking at me. Not a fan of that aspect of La Boqueria.
