Headed to Ireland!

We are so excited to head back to Europe for the first time in almost eight years when we jet off to Ireland this Saturday! We are long overdue for a jump across the pond &, thanks to an awesome fare sale courtesy of Delta, Ireland was added to our itinerary. Icing on the cake? Saturday evening, we’ll be flying on the A380 for the first time.

We’ll be in Dublin Sunday through Tuesday, staying at the comfortable Fitzwilliam Hotel right on St. Stephen’s Green. Sunday night we’re excited to head out on Dublin’s Musical Pub crawl for some traditional Irish songs & our very first pint of Guinness. On Monday, we’ll spend the day exploring the city – the Long Room at Trinity College is high on my list.

Tuesday morning, we’re renting a car & heading west! On our way out to Adare, we’re hoping to stop at the Rock of Cashel. We’re so looking forward to checking into the gorgeous Adare Manor for our three night stay! Our agenda out west includes touring the Dingle Penisula, getting up early one morning to hit up the Cliffs of Moher & even learning about falconry in Adare. Our evenings will be spent enjoying Adare’s traditional pubs & relaxing after long days of touring.

Since our flight is mid-morning on Saturday, we decided to head back toward Dublin on Friday & will be staying at the impressive K Club just outside of the city. We hope to spend our final day in the country soaking in all the green landscapes.

I’ll be posting on Instagram when we have access to wifi, so keep an eye out there to follow along on our adventures. And with B driving on the left hand side of the road, this is definitely going to be an adventure!
