Wordless Wednesday: Sunrise & Sunset at Sea

One of my favorite things about cruising is getting up early in the morning & seeing the sunrise over the ocean or over the island we’re pulling into. The ship is quiet at that early hour & there’s something incredibly peaceful about watching the sunrise in the middle of the ocean. Later in the day, as the sun sets, the ship is usually hopping with music & laughter & the sunset has more of a party-like atmosphere. I tend to always have cloudy sunsets on my cruises, but that doesn’t make them any less beautiful.

  1. Beautiful photos – they may or may not make me want to go on another cruise like NOW. It always seems to be cloudy at sunrise and sunset when I’m on a cruise too! Glad to know I’m not alone. However, not sure there is too much that can be either sun event while at sea. There’s just something magical about witnessing it in the wide open space of the sea.

  3. I looove sunsets at the sea… So I tell you, the best sunset I experienced in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Have you ever been? Maybe you should add it to your ”I wanna go there…” list. You won’t regret because, besides the sea and the sun, the city offers many beautiful sights, culture and food. It’s not called ”The Adriatic pearl” for no reason.

Have a great trip to your next destination!

I’ve never been, but I’ve heard amazing things about the entire beautiful country. Officially adding it to my list!

      1. You’ll spend some great time there, I’m sure :)

Btw. I love your blog, adding it to may favourites :)
