FriFotos: Windows

I literally squealed out loud with glee when it was announced that this week’s #FriFotos theme was windows. I could change the name of this blog to “photos of windows,” post one a day for a five years & STILL not run out of photos. To say I have an obsession with photographing windows is an understatement. My love of these square or rectangle pieces of architectural perfection began in 2007 on a trip to Villefranche, France (hence forth known as “the place with amazing windows & doors”). I spent an entire Sunday morning wandering the back streets of this sleepy coastal town, shooting every interesting window & door I came across – basically all of them. But, no fear, this post isn’t just about Villefranche. It’s about Chicago & Old Town Alexandria & Cincinnati & Barbados & Canada & Brooklyn… I guess awesome windows are a global phenomenon!
