The hour before sunset is known as the “golden hour.” The sun’s angle against the horizon creates warm, creamy, golden light that makes everything glow. Saturday evening sunset in St. Michaels, Maryland was spectacular – not because of the sunset itself (which was hidden behind the trees), but because of the golden hour light that it cast across the tiny town’s harbor.
