Wordless Wednesday: the West Side Market

The West Side Market in Cleveland, Ohio has been bringing fresh meat & produce to Clevelanders since 1840. Cleveland’s oldest publicly owned market moved into it’s current home, a beautiful brick building with a soaring arched ceiling & iconic bell tower, in 1912. On a personal note, I visited the West Side Market as a little girl on a weekly basis, every Saturday morning, with my Dad. Almost 30 years later, the market stands a testament to a simpler time.

  1. Great post! Brings back so many memories of those Saturday morning outings, when you were my cutie with the pixie haircut!

    1. I almost marked this comment as spam, since I usually don’t let any talk of my former pixie haircut appear on my blog, but I’ll let this one slide :)
